Family Groups
Students at Alexander Doniphan Elementary participate in Family Groups - a group that consists of one building staff member and a mix of students from every grade. This group stays together for a student's entire time as a Doniphan Dolphin and allows them to have connections outside of their classroom to foster a feeling of belonging.
Clubs & Activities
At our school we have several clubs and activities to get students involved in their school community, learn new skills and make friendships. Some of our clubs include Student council, Orchestra and Girls on The Run!
Celebrations
Here at AD, we love to celebrate students and staff! We celebrate positive behavior with Golden Tickets and Doniphan Doozies. We also like to celebrate meeting goals like our attendance goals or iReady growth goals!
Real World Learning
At Doniphan, one of our main goals it to set students up for success in the real world! Every grade level intentionally plans projects and opportunities for students connect with the real world in learning!
Students will also have the opportunity to earn badges to show their mastery of skills when it comes to real world learning!
